The Coastal & Marine MSc class were away in Donegal last week. A long day on the beach, recording cross-shore profiles, was followed by data analysis and presentations in the evening. On the second day, students extracted cores from a bog at Sliabh Liag in the morning. The afternoon was dedicated to data collection of a shore platform at the base of the cliffs. It was a productive few days, while enjoying the dramtaic Donegal landscape and the lovely weather on offer 😄
