Events
Your Best Place to Start
Careers events are one of the quickest and most effective ways to get the information, clarity and confidence you need, whatever stage you are at in your career journey.
Our events are designed to answer the most common (and important!) career questions, helping you build knowledge, explore options, and take informed next steps. For many students, attending an event will answer most, if not all, of their questions.
If you do need more personalised guidance after attending an event, you can then arrange a one-to-one appointment with a member of the Careers Team, having already gained a strong foundation. This means your appointment time can be used more effectively and focused on your specific situation, saving you time and helping us support all students as efficiently as possible.
With years of experience supporting students and graduates, we know the key career questions that arise at different stages, from “Where do I start?” to “How do I stand out?” Our events are shaped around these needs and informed by regular student feedback.
Starting with an event means you:
- Get expert guidance quickly
- Learn alongside other students with similar questions
- Gain clarity before deciding if you need one-to-one support
- Often get faster access than an appointment
This approach helps us use our resources efficiently and ensures we can support all students in a timely and meaningful way.
