Using Careers Connect as a Graduate of University of Galway
Graduate Access to Careers Connect for 3 Years Post-Graduation
Graduates of the University of Galway remain eligible to use Careers Connect for up to three academic years following the year of completion. For example, students who graduated in 2025 retain access through the 2027–28 academic year. Graduates who completed their studies before 2024 are no longer eligible.
How to Register and Use the Platform
- Log in using your previous student credentials or register using your former student number.
- Search for relevant job and funding opportunities.
- Set up email alerts to stay informed about upcoming jobs and events.
Events and Job Board
- View & Register for upcoming career events including Jobs Fairs
- View Jobs & Opportunities
Appointments (Outside Term Only)
- A limited number of career appointments are available to recent graduates outside of the academic term and are subject to availability, as priority is given to registered students. Availability is subject to demand,
- To enquire, graduates must submit a query through Careers Connect.

Please note:
- Vacancies must include a closing date - rolling deadlines cannot be accomodated. Closing dates within 3 months are recommended.
- Unpaid opportunities must be clearly tagged.
- We cannot advertise opportunities where there is a cost involved to the student/graduate to apply or accept the post.
Recruitment Agencies - specific job vacancies can be added however the field for the employer you are recruiting for must be included. This information will not be disclosed to the student.
