Registration is now open for the European Whistleblowing Conference 2026, organised by the European Whistleblowing Institute. Under the theme “Whistleblowing in the AI Era: National Security, the Rule of Law, and Public Accountability,” the conference will take place on 20 October 2026 in Brussels, Belgium.

The event will bring together representatives from national authorities across the European Union and beyond, alongside academics, civil society leaders and other experts. Discussions will explore the opportunities, risks and emerging challenges that artificial intelligence presents for whistleblowing, public accountability, national security and the rule of law. Participation in the conference is free of charge, reflecting the organisers’ commitment to making these important conversations accessible to a broad audience.
