University of Galway Net Pay Calculator
Before using it, please check your most recent payslip to ensure that all relevant details are entered correctly. Your updated tax information is available on Core: ESS Time & Pay or on Revenue’s online service My Account via your tax credit certificate.
You can then adjust the calculator to reflect any of the following changes:
- New weekly working hours
- Shorter working year, with salary spread over 12 months
Please note: PRSI and pension deductions may be higher in the month(s) that your shorter working year applies. PRSI weeks are only earned for weeks actually worked, and reduced PRSI weeks may affect your PRSI and pension deductions. - Revised salary
- New or additional deductions, if you wish to see their impact on your net pay
