The team of tutors were fantastic, highly qualified and extremely knowledgeable with years of experience in the field of Social Care. Across the 4 years l had the opportunity to go on practice placement which gave me the opportunity to broaden my understanding & knowledge of the Social Care sector. On my final placement this year l got the opportunity to work at a training centre which is funded by the probation service, and I was lucky to be offered a job by my placement teacher. While completing the course, I was still able to work and take care of a family of five due to its flexible nature. The course involved a mixture of theoretical & practical experience. Work placements formed an integral part of the course, which helped me to develop practical skills & reflective capacity while also gaining invaluable work experience in the social care profession and the opportunity to network with other social care professionals & organisations. The supportive nature of the lecturers and the flexible learning approach have inspired me to further pursue a master’s here also.
