2026 Alumni BBQ & Bell X1 Concert

We are delighted to host our Alumni Summer Gathering on Saturday, 25 July 2026. Join us in Sult Bar for a sizzling BBQ and refreshments from 5.30pm, before making your way across the O’Shaughnessy Bridge to the Festival Big Top at Fisheries Field to enjoy Bell X1 live in concert.
Tickets are €55 per person (including BBQ and concert entry). Tickets must be collected in person at the BBQ, as entry to the Big Top will not be permitted without a valid ticket. Tickets are limited to University of Galway graduates and their guests. Please register below.
As part of the day, we are also planning a special Saying Goodbye to the James Hardiman Library event from 11–3 on campus — a relaxed, informal visit for the whole family featuring exhibitions, archives, memories and the chance to revisit favourite study spaces, before the Library moves to a new building in Summer 2027. Further details and registration will follow shortly.
Whether you’re returning for the memories, the music or simply a summer’s day on campus, we would be delighted to see you.
Now all we need is the sunshine!
