The year 1 Industry Trip is always a great day out and gives students the opportunity to see hotels both front and back of house.
This year, on January 21st, our students and some members of staff travelled to Fota Island Resort, and Cork International Hotel to be shown in depth, the operations and day to day runnings of a hotel in Ireland.
There are a number of alumni in both properties who kindly hosted this tour and met with our students, discussing their journeys from students of Shannon College to where they are today.
