Minister Patrick O'Donovan T.D. paid a visit to the renowned Shannon College of Hotel Management in October where he met with students, staff, and members of the Graduating Class of 1974.
The engagement at Shannon College – part of University of Galway – highlighted its pivotal role in shaping Ireland's hospitality industry and acknowledged its ambitious plans for the future.

Minister O'Donovan, speaking to the student body, highlighted the college’s international influence: “I have travelled far and wide and have always had the pleasure of meeting a Shannon student or alumni. There was always a warm welcome and excellent service provided. This college is truly renowned for its exceptional reputation in hospitality management education.”
