Mature Students Officer

The role of the Mature Students Officer at University of Galway is to assist prospective mature students with information on application procedures, course criteria and the supports available to adjust to University life.

Please feel free to book an online or in-person meeting with the Mature Students Officer.

Meeting Types:

1. In-person meetings on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 10-4pm. 
2. Tuesdays and Fridays: online appointments only, from 10-4pm.

Message from Kathleen Hartigan, Mature Students Officer:

"My office is located in the Access Centre, in Aras Úi Cathail on the ground floor. Meetings are held in my office or online Tuesdays and Fridays, in a safe space to discuss any issues or difficulties you may be experiencing with your studies or personal circumstances. I provide empathetic, confidential, non-judgmental support to prospective students and current students who are having difficulties balancing University life and Homelife."
