Keep Software Up to Date and Configure Your Security
To ensure your software is always up to date and securely configured, we recommend using the University Supported Desktop configurations. These setups are designed to automatically update and include all necessary security software, properly installed and configured.

On Your Own Device
- Windows Devices: Regularly check for updates in Control Panel > Windows Updates.
- Apple Devices: Apple computers will automatically notify you when system updates are available.
- Applications: Regularly check the menus or websites of any applications you use for updates.
