Brian Walsh | Manager - Site Manager at MSL Engineering Ltd.
The course was delivered weekly using slides and only the first lecture was live. This method suited me as I could login at anytime to watch the prerecordings as I need flexibility with my work and life. The course was a benefit to me as I am involved in commercials of a company business and need to be able to get an understanding of calculations and formulas. I find commercials difficult and this course definitely gave me a better understanding of finance. A special thank you to the course lecturer Mr. David O’ Donovan who presented and issued the micro-credential content online, he was very professional and helpful.in Connect with Brian

Emer Hennessy | Cancer Centre Manager | University of Galway
As a research manager I deal with large programme budgets and regularly interact with financial accountants. I had been looking for a short course to expand my knowledge of financial management. This micro-credential was perfect to get fundamental understanding of financial & management accounts and business investment – even just to learn accountancy terminology! I would recommend this course to anyone who deals with financial planning & reporting but is outside the finance or business career pathway. The workload was manageable. The course was delivered online via Canvas; the lectures, notes and assignments were well presented and pitched at the right level.in Connect with Emer
