Development Manager
The Development Manager is responsible for the provision of high-level direction and support in delivering on the research ambitions for the College of Arts, Social Sciences and Celtic Studies. This includes supporting researchers from PhD to advanced level, at every stage of the research life cycle. Working closely with the Vice Dean for Research and Innovation and the College’s Research Committee, the Development Manager works towards creating a research ecosystem that supports and advocates on behalf of the ambitions of our researchers in attaining impactful research outcomes.

Digital Humanities Manager
The Digital Humanities Manager works with individual researchers and project teams from across the Arts and Humanities on the use of digital technologies to enable innovative Digital Humanities and Creative Tech research projects. Working across all phases of project design and development, this can involve initial consultations on design and technology scoping, technical project management, the design and development of digital platforms and supporting technical infrastructures, and the management and maintenance of digital projects beyond the life of their funding.

Administrative Assistant
The Research Management Office Administrative Assistant supports the research community of the College of Arts, Social Sciences & Celtic Studies in the communication and dissemination of research news and events via varying social media platforms. They are also responsible for the management of the Hardiman Research Building which supports up to 250 PhD students, 25 postdoctoral researchers, and 15 visiting academics per year. The role also provides executive assistance to the Vice Dean for Research and Innovation and the Development Manager in support of the College’s research priorities.
